The theme is "The Boys in Blue". Sound or the selection of sounds put behind a visual can set the tone or mood and change it so dramatically. Comparing the original film to the remix is like night and day, and although the content is the same, they each have a different feel. The original film has a victorious feel to it (at least the clip I watched on YouTube did) and the clip that was with the article is more eerie and dramatic. The original was also very cut and dry, DJ Spooky's version had a flow and rhythm to it. <br /><br />After reading some reviews on DJ Spooky's film it became apparent to me that his film was much more about the "birth" of media manipulation in the 20th Century. Anything and everything design from all over the world. There are concepts and finished showcases and everything is so innovative, inspiring and very in step or ahead of the times. The colors and design/layout of the website are exciting and functional at the same time and it's very easy to navigate. The website contains Divs, JavaScript, and CSS. Some people don't understand that even the simplest things, like the chair you are sitting in, require a whole design process and its fascinating to see what is designed all around the world. This site offers endless inspiration possibilities.
